Whilst visiting an Aviation & Transport Enthusiast Fair, which was held in the Concorde Conference Centre on the aviation viewing park at Manchester Airport in August 2009, I was pleased to see one of their impressive Carmichael Cobra 2 Airport Fire Tenders on display to the public, and of course I just had to get a few shots of this lovely vehicle. A short while later, and whilst back taking pictures on the opposite side of the airfield, up popped another two, this time on their way back to base after dealing with an alert involving one of the 'BMI Baby' airliners, which thankfully didn't have a problem after all.

Also on display was an old RAF 'Green Goddess' fire tender, which was of the type seen on many streets in the UK during the two Fireman strikes, and this particular example was in a beautiful condition.
